This Privacy Policy explains how OpenSlate ("OpenSlate," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our open-house coordination and content tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and brokerage, provided when you sign up or when you sign in with Google (in which case we receive your basic Google profile: name and email).
- Content you create — open house listings, hosting claims, and messages you post in coordination threads.
- Usage information — basic technical data such as your browser type and general activity needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To provide the Service — showing the shared open-house board, enabling coordination chat, and generating listing content you request.
- To notify the relevant agent by email when their open house is claimed.
- To review and approve access for agents at participating brokerages.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Service.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run the Service, and information is processed by them on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Netlify — application hosting.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Anthropic — AI generation of listing content you request in the Content Studio.
- Google — optional sign-in.
These providers may process data outside Canada. We share information with them only as needed to operate the Service.
How information is shared
Content you post (open houses, claims, messages) is visible to other approved agents at your brokerage within the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time.
Your choices
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting hello@webfarm.ca. You can stop using the Service at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
